The minimum purchase commitment for our regular truck depends on the day of the week for the event: Mon, Tue and Wed – $50; Thu, Sun and holidays – $60; Fri, Sat and last day of school in Fulton/Cobb* – $70. The purpose of the minimum purchase commitment is to protect our drivers from losing money on unprofitable events. We would like to ensure that by coming to the event, drivers will make at least what they normally make by driving their regular routes.
The stated minimums are for the events that last up to a half an hour. We can serve up to 200 guests in a half an hour as long as they are ready to order. For the events where ice cream truck needs to stay longer, for example, sports games, grand openings, festivals, car shows, etc., there is an additional minimum of $50-$60 an hour depending on a day of a week.
If the driver has to wait more than 10 minutes for the event to begin, we ask for additional order commitment of $1 per minute of waiting time. Please note, that this is not an extra fee, but just ask that you buy enough ice cream to make it worthwhile for the driver to wait.
For the events beyond our regular routes (outside the blue area in the map above) for example, Monroe, Cartersville, Athens, etc., minimum will be around $80-$120.
We also have the “Big Blue Bunny” vintage ice cream truck. Its rates are different from the rest of the trucks. Minimum sales commitment for the Big Blue Bunny ranges between $200 and $300 for the first hour. 50% deposit is required for the vintage truck events. It’s up to you when you would like to send the deposit, but your reservation will not be confirmed until the deposit is received. During the peak season it is usually booked over a month in advance for Friday and Saturday afternoons, so you need to inquire early. The Big Blue Bunny is out of service during the off-season October 1st to April 1st. You can find more information about the Big Blue Bunny truck on www.BigBlueBunnyIceCreamTruck.com.
